A Random Sandwiching
Since being given the wonderful panini maker for the Holidays last year, DucCat and I have come up with many a great sandwich to be pressed between it's non-stick plates. This is my current favourite.
After 3 hours of madly cleaning 6 inches of spiderweb-condos out of the exterior windows, I was ready for some fuel. The beauty above was created using two very thin slices of Cowboy Syd's bread, with a good schmear of Usinger's liverwurst pate, thinly-sliced red onions, and some Morbier. I typically use Piave in this sandwich, but the Morbier was stinky and unctuous, and flowed around edges of the sandwich with mad abandon. Which is just the way I ate it.
