First Annual Port Warwick Art Festival

Self-promotion alert...

Port Warwick will be holding it's first annual Arts Festival this weekend, on October 8th & 9th. Hundreds of vendors will fill the square with unusual and beautiful objects of desire. At least, that's the plan.

I'll be out there, too, but not selling art. I'll be working the sausage stand, baby! In partnership with the Tapas Lounge, some friends and I will be grilling up a bevy of sassy little andouilles, wrapping them in soft tortillas, and slathering 'em with salsa for the hungry, art-seeking hordes. Let's just hope that the weather holds...

The stand will be located just across from Cowboy Syd's restaurant, but I'm sure you'll catch the scent of sausages long before you see us. Incidentally, the Cowboy himself will be out in the square, selling his own unique art pieces, so be on the lookout for his luridly fun foamcore creations.

When you've finished with the festivities in Newport News, sneak the back-way into Williamsburg for the Italian-American Festival, always a good time.

Uh I love Italian festivals!! Miss them in CT. We used to go to the one in Westport every year and eat sausages and meatball subs and cheese and more sausages.
Have fun!!
