Heading out for Holiday
Well, it's been five years since that first, unexpected time I laid eyes on DucCat at a wine tasting.
Life has been good, so we're packing up the car in a few hours, and heading over to Virginia wine country to celebrate four blissful years of marriage.
Catch you cats sometime next week!

That story of your first meeting is wonderful...it wouldn't be half as great without the corresponding picture! :D Hope ya'll have a great time.

holy car!! nice.
what a sweet story! i'm glad to read another one of a man who wouldnt take no for an answer...i similarly tried to thwart my hubby's advances when we first met...and here we are, 10 years later and almost 8 years of marriage. :)
Congrats, and have a lovely time!!
Congrats on the anniversary! We celebrated 8 years on 5/30 - great time of year! :)
Happy Anniversary! Great story about how you two met.
wmm- For a time, I thought the picture had been accidentally erased from the hard drive. When I discovered it, I made multiple back-ups, then printed off a copy and had it framed as a holiday present.
bc- Congrats to you and Mrs.Backyard Chef!
ilva- Thanks, and we did indeed!
Sher- trust me, photos are forthcoming!
iac- Everything counts in small amounts...
MeBeth- We didn't quite make it down to Lexingford, but we did stay in Wintergreen, and toured through Nelson County.
Krysten- the car is a mutual anniversary gift, and all I'm going to say is that it is enormously fun to tool around twisty hilly roads in. And it's a good thing that the men-folk can sometimes be pushy. :)
Cate- I hope you did something fun, that's a lovely long time!
Barbara- cheers!
